Our goal was to design a user experience that made choosing insurance enjoyable. We worked through the tension of developing an app that was robust and sophisticated enough to handle complex information without feeling complex at the user level.
Product Design
For the design, we focused on creating a step-by-step user experience that would give the user just what they needed to make their next decision, reducing information fatigue and establishing an insurance-buying process that felt highly intuitive.
Product Engineering
Integrating with the United Healthcare’s insurance quoting engine our team of engineers built the app using a React frontend that met the state-specific requirements despite their variability.
